My daughter has scoliosis and was diagnosed at age 10. She was put into a brace for 2years but it didn't work, her spine kept curving so she had surgery at age 13, she had 70% curve in c-3 to L- 3 and had rods put to fix it and now she only has 10% curve. She was very scared to have the surgery because she's a dancer and thought she'd never dance again. She recovered very well and quickly and went back to dance in 8months. Now she is in a dance academy at her high school and is still doing well. Keep your strength up and hopes up you'll be fine. There are exercises you can do as well to help with pain but ask your Dr. first. Good luck to you and I hope my daughters story helped you.

I lost my dad 5 months ago to cancer, it's tough but it gets better with time. Hang in there and always remember she's watching over you. Take care and monster love to you and your family.
