Should i come out at school?

Next year in eighth grade I want to come out as a lesbian only to show people diversity and to be brave for other closeted kids and to show them that it's okay to be gay. Then I think that's a bad idea and I'll get bullied and lose my friends and...

I say yes only if you are strong enough to endure what comes next. It's gonna be hard, my friend, buy it'll be worth it! Maybe you'll lose some friends, but you'll meet some others who will make your world way better, I've been through that, and I can assure you that, although it's rough, it will set you free. I promise.
