I completely agree with your statement. When asked why I do not attend Gay PRIDE by someone straight I ask them if they are proud of being straight. That should be the answer. I am able to be open about who I am but I am not going to sit there and think that I am better than everyone else because the fact that I am gay. Straight people do not have parades to celebrate their straightness.. what gives us the right to think that we need to celebrate our gayness. That is what the parades are anymore.

When do you think this will develop beyond a Lady Gaga Fan Club?

A majority of the posts in every section are centered around lady gaga. Can a social network survive on a single topic?

I personally am not a Lady Gaga fan but was drawn in by the "little monsters" theme. Knowing where it came from I was hesitant but definitely wanted to check it out. I think it has major potential however I do believe the threads and wall postings need to be more focused on the goal of the page rather than idolizing Lady Gaga herself. I would think she created the site for more than just a fan page.
