Do not trash talk Katy. She's a wrong target. She and Gaga attract different fan bases. This game is not like 'Gaga has to win and Katy has to lose'.

Everyone has peaks and falls. There's no need to neglect that Katy is at her peak right now. Time will tell who is more sustainable in this industry.

Even though Gaga mentioned Cheek To Cheek, I always thought ARTPOP serves as the end of an old era and the beginning of a new one. I've had this feeling ever since I saw Swine & Manicure iTunes festival rehearsal video clips last year. Anyway, just can't wait to hear Cheek To Cheek.

What amazes me is Gaga's consistent eccentricity. When I saw the picture of the young Stefani standing on a chair playing piano, I knew she's no faker. I also used to watch Hannah Montana so I would say Miley is just trying to be eccentric while she's actually not.

I think she's actually right about Katy whose reputation is largely based on her looks instead of music. And beauty does have an expiry date. However when it comes to Gaga, it's her music that connects her and her fans. From my perspective, as long as Gaga is able to write music like You and I, Speechless and Gypsy, I'll still buy her records and go to her concerts. Whether she's 'beautiful' or 'ugly' doesn't really matter. I'm pretty sure Gaga will still be a thing in 30 years, just like David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen.
