I am terrified, I feel trapped in these circumstances, I feel like while the academic system of America to most is a doorway to a brighter future, for me it is a prison, its credits, digits, percentages, assessments, evaluations, regulations, and stipulations are the shackles of my soul that prevents my wings from opening up to dive off the edge of the world into the life that I want to be in, the place where I am home. I am eclectic, homosexual, and even an F student, but primarily I am human.
