There's a university professor somewhere in the USA who gathers these, fries them up, and makes tacos from them for adventurous students. Supposedly they're pretty good if you can get over the fact that you're eating bugs.

Alex, I want you to know that I appreciate your concern for your friend. If you're worried enough about him that you're going to post pictures of yourself crying on the Internet, then it's probably something to take seriously! If you know his name and what town he's from, preferably his full address, CALL THE POLICE. Google the local police's number or use your 411 service and ask for the (City), (State) police department emergency number, and tell them everything you know. They'll find him and do their best to get him the help he needs. If you DON'T know his full name or where he lives, try to get him to tell you! I know I've been suicidal many times, and every time, no matter how bad it seemed at the time, it's always gotten better. You're a good friend! Don't give up on him!
