Valerie LeGault

Born in Yakima, WA, March 1947. 9 months later, moved to the Midwest where I stayed for the next 29 years (WI, MN, IL, MO, KS), during which time I birthed, two gorgeous daughters, married briefly, ran my own business (into the ground during the l973-79 recession), lived with my new friend Poverty in a truly haunted house, and came out as a lesbian. Finished a masters degree and edited my partner's doctoral dissertation. Having met in WI, she and I have now been together since April 1981.
