El corazón invertido era usado como símbolo de rechazo en el holocausto. El triángulo con la base en la parte inferior ha pasado a significar una seña de orgullo. Fijaros en los triángulos del principio y del final del vídeo de Born this way, el del final representa el orgullo de ser uno mismo y de definir la propia belleza.
