Hello, I am Brazilian, but I do not follow the World Cup for many reasons. One is the expense that our corrupt government had to build all these stadiums and around the structure, while Brazil lacks hospitals and schools. While hundreds of Brazilians die waiting for medical treatment, hundreds celebrate the World Cup. Brazil is a country dominated by a corrupt government. Our education system sucks as well as the health system. There is misery in the streets, crime happens there every minute while the government spends money and national treasure with trifles.
