I love ARTPOP . My guess is because all her other albums had a very clear theme the story was laid out for them so they could understand and identify. I feel ( which it's what I love it) ARTPOP was so open and complex even in it's simplicity it is very very complex because it can be interpreted in so many ways hence "my artpop could mean anything " so she was trying to make us find beauty in all things and see art everywhere but I feel being so open for the public to figure it out is why people hate on it, also the world has lost it's love of art and now only loves sports and reality tv. I said even about the VMAs was terrible not because Gaga wasn't there but because art and talent has been replaced with twerking in booty shorts and autotune .. It's sad show business is not what it was, also social media and technology I feel has disconnected people to much , we are not impressed or satisfied as a society anymore and isn't it true people always fear what they do not understand ? I think so ,, but I adore the album and wish we had more from it but those who understand it and just simply " get it" well it's a little gem for us who do and no critic or social media forum or sales chart can take it away from us so I say fuck the critics!!!! ARTPOP for life !!!!
