I am non-religious. In fact, I closely share your views. But I live in Utah, which is a very LDS state. For me, Gaga just enforced my beliefs. She made me feel like it was okay that I was different, and that I should be proud and flaunt it. If anything, being born this way has become my religion. I have no problem telling someone that I am a little monster.
