Hello, my name is Deyvie Mar and I am 21 years old. As an individual, I identify as an introvert. It was after being exposed to Lady Gaga’s music, specifically her songs ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Just Dance,’ that I found myself becoming a little monster. Eh, during my time in grade 4 in 2013, I experienced bullying from my peers, who taunted me with hurtful and discriminatory comments such as “You are gay” and “You are going to hell.” It was during my time in grade 3 in 2011 that I first heard Lady Gaga’s song ‘Born This Way’ on the radio. At the time, I held the belief that Lady Gaga herself was gay, though I never vocalized this thought and instead kept it to myself. In 2018, I used Facebook and came across Lady Gaga’s music video for ‘Poker Face.’ I was immediately drawn to it and downloaded the video to share with my cousins and friends. I then proceeded to search for Lady Gaga’s page and downloaded her photos, videos, and songs. At the time, I was only able to access Facebook’s free mode as there was no Wi-Fi available. In 2020, Wi-Fi became available in my area, which allowed me to search for Lady Gaga and my other idols on various social media websites. Through these platforms, I was able to access Lady Gaga’s music on YouTube, including my favorite song, ‘Born This Way,’ which features stunning lyrics. Te amo, Gaga!
