well said...your letter FEELS real and HONEST. I hope other people can take the time to read appreciate the sincerity and conviction of your words. And Truth of your message is quite profound. It took me back to 2008, watching the video for Beautiful, Dirty, Rich, and laughing while Gaga lit (fake) money on fire. It reminded me about how important those first 2 albums were (TF, TFM); they defined the fanbase. It reminded me why I, and you too, loved Gaga and her music and message. We are all equal, we all deserve equal access to all things, all deserve the same rights and privileges. Of course, that wasn't, and isn't the status of our social zeitgeist. But at least someone was finally saying something about consumerism, hate, well..all forms of divisiveness. And beyond saying something, she DID lots of things. Isn't that what this was about in the first place? to remember WHO WE ARE?? I remember the original intention behind Gaga, the Haus, and every action made from the platform of that original intention was mind-blowing. DADT died before my eyes. Heartbreaking. This really speaks to the power of music to soothe any hurt; it's a vehicle to connect people, ease pain, and provide hope in times of sorrow. Danii, I pray you will find the continued strength and courage to persevere during this difficult time. And I pray for you to feel joy in your heart every time you hear Gaga'a music. And finally may you feel peace in your heart, know that your story did not go unheard. I'm so thankful that you have your mother and Gaga to comfort you when you feel sad or scared. I wish someone from her team would confirm or refute this. It makes me so upset to think this could be true. But it's just a rumor until we hear otherwise from a reliable source.

I respect, support, and agree completely with the massive contradiction you are highlighting in this post. The integral concept and message that this website was built upon, that Gaga's fanbase embodies (at least the fanbase I JOINED 4 years ago), and that Gaga stands for, fights for, and conveys through her music, her visuals (both music video treatments AND her performance art) is PEACE, LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, TOLERANCE, BRAVERY AND FREEDOM! "Free to be you and me"-LG "It's always wrong to hate, but never wrong to love"-LG "God makes no mistakes"-LG This is the message and the concept that I personally live for and actively fight for every day of my life. It's the reason I felt so connected to Gaga years ago, and the reason I joined this website. Marc, I think you're fabulous. I don't have twitter or FB b/c I'm a psychologist and my patients would find me, lol. But I check you're twitter posts sometimes because you always have the best info on everything-Gaga. You seem like such a doll, and you make me laugh with your wit, sarcasm, and humor. I am so stoked that you've connected with Gaga as much as you have. I wish I had the time and resources to travel around the world, see different countries, meet new people, and hang with Gaga. I would do the same thing if I were you! I'm truly happy for you because it seems like you're living your life on your own terms, and you seem happy. I hope I'm right!
