We compare them because they are different. I personally like to compare the pop singers. To me, I always felt Katy Perry had a very superficial personality and a very weak singing voice. Lady Gaga feels so much more real to me. She writes her own songs, doesn't lip sing, takes time for her fans, dances her head off, and as such a powerful voice. The song "Dope" and her songs with Tony Bennett best show how powerful of a singer she is.
