I love doing pottery!! My whole life, as a kid I started working with a private ceramics teacher around 7yrs old. I worked with her for many years until about 13 since in my town the only has pottery classes (true ceramics uses Wheel Throwing) I guess the school system felt we were not old enough to use a machine working with clay. Though in early grades we did simple hand sculpting using clay. But my point, haha got sidetracked. That S&S tarting to learn any skill at a young age is essential. In order to be good at sports, theater, arts, math, science, the earlier you start the easier more advanced technics are to learn. I have made some pretty nice pieces. "Not bragging" lol :)

Are those swans made from bath towels? I love when hotels create animals from them.

I love in Connecticut!! My town is Avon, close to Hartford, but it's suburban, lots of forests. Avon, Farmington, and Simsbury is what "the valley" more so a statement of how all the towns are full of rich snobs. (My family lives modestly, not wealthy, not poor, normal I guess. My house is small, but charming since it was built around 1930s. But vintage is nice I think, we have done most of it over. But still has that old authentic quality to it). So we wild little monsters pick fun at the huge houses. Which I wouldn't even want to ever live in one. These "rich" neighborhoods have no yard space, as the building company put in as many houses possible. Plus they are cookie cutter homes; everyone's house looks exactly alike. Friends and I joke about how the wife's stay home all day getting drunk. while the husband is at work making all the big bucks his wife spends on herself. The CEO of Chase credit cards lives on the mountain, in a HUGE house. Where only 1/3 of the mansion is above ground!!! It be so fun to just walk threw the Chase mansion and see what this CEO did with the other 2/3 of his place. Indoor swimming pool? A spa? Bowling alley? A small golf course would probably even fit. When it was built 2 years ago it reminded me so much of the Newport mansions. Ever been to Newport Road Island? One if my favorite vacation spots. Oh and Cape Cod.... Grew up going every year,...
