the most singers of the 60s and 70s were more genuine, because the amps the equipments were different than today, today castingshows are sucks !!! long time ago people had to struggle to achieve their success and experienced a hard road.......if you are not able to sing .....you would lose. Nowadays we have backingtapes, playback or autotune,....to improve the horse sound alike.

Probably Coz they're mostly younger than you...I agree with you anyways the today stars are more performers while the other older women actually have seriously a heavy powerhouse range of vocal (they were the talented female rockers during the 70s and the 80s) ....except the late wonderful Janis (in fact she was also one of the most revolutionary woman in the rock n roll history), I wish she could have live longer.. Iam 42 years old guy and I grew up in the 70s with all the female rockers you have mentioned it above and I´m still listening to them,...they are really good and wonderful person inside and outside.
