My husband, daughter and I moved from the states to my husband’s homeland (Sweden) almost 3 years ago. It’s a struggle getting used to a new culture. The worst is missing loved ones back home. My daughter, Maja, is (or was) outgoing but keeps to herself here. She struggles with the language (she understands Swedish but refuses to speak it). We tend to have each other, mostly. I worry. A lot. We spend a lot of time listening to music, watching videos and shows. Lately, it’s been Lady Gaga nearly every day. I want to say thank you. I don’t know if you’ll see this but if by chance you do, just know that your light shines so brightly and your words really have such a positive impact. You are an inspiration, and your message of being yourself is, to me, the best message for my daughter (and me, and the world). I don’t know you but I love your beautiful soul.
