We come into the world. And right away we are assigned a name, Identifying traits and a gender by no control of our own. I knew of a very bright bold young lady (who was a friend) who took her life who just wanted to "feel pretty". Literally. She would watch "Pretty Woman" and wear short shorts, tan and run alot. Many people found her behavior as "odd" and she was diagnosed as Manic Depressive. Our society judges women who want to feel good by looking good as promiscuous... "Pre Ga" She happen to love Madonna might I add. If only her family friends and I understood her better when she expressed disdain for the ultimatum of having to be the quintessential person - violinists, Straight A student and Ivy league bound; and instead, just let her be herself first by feeling Sexy... . She permed her hair and tried almost anything to gain confidence. Im sure real conversation, support and a little make up could have saved her life... she needed to feel comfortable in her skin and feel affection. Haus Labs message resonates with me about her because it conveys how important and priceless it is to look, feel and be you - whatever that is despite society's constraints and convention.

@Linda68 She has had similar impact AMAZINGLY on me and Im a athletics guy whom many would judge me for being "Starstruck" . But I think and believe Gaga truly cares and its evident in so many ways so the transfer of her empowered emotion works... She has helped me grow comfortable with myself - miraculously to the point of admitting I sometimes like men sexually! But dont forget there is not a replacement for intimate conversation one on one or in a group etc If you dont "love" yourself its vital figure out why not which can be complex. An in depth analysis is often needed and thats why there are professionals or someone who is bright and cares to help you wholly! Assess about how much a Lady Gaga or anyone (you'll never likely meet ) really cares about "you". But the world needs more people like Stephanie Germanotta for certain.
