So last night I went to see Lady Gaga's Jazz and Piano performance. Holy shit was it the most amazing performance I have ever seen. Now, don't get me wrong I absolutely loved Enigma (her pop concert) but Jazz and Piano was just a whole different vibe, a different crowd, it was Much more intimate and just down right amazing. I know Gaga has a voice of an angel and she can so so much with it, and it really showed last night. She sang old jazz and some of her songs changed up a little bit to make them Jazzy. During intermissions when she had to change costume they played little videos on the screen. In one of the videos Gaga mentioned how all the old jazz singers lit their torch in the jazz/music industry and carried it across the world and how she wanted to do the same. Well my dear Gaga you have done much more than that already, you have lit that torch, carried it across the world, and you have set the fucking world on fire! You have lit an eternal flame on the world mother monster. And for centuries people will still be singing your songs and hopefully following in your footsteps. You said in a video last night that you were amazed by how we are still singing songs today that are over a century old, well trust me, in a century the whole world will know your name and will still be singing your songs at the top of their lungs. Last night you joked about how you already have your funeral planned, well Lady you can bet your ass that I will have your voice blaring over the cemetery till they shovel that last pile of dirt on My casket.
