Yes! The Applause music video is like a painting, literally every shot in the video can be a work of art or a photograph in a magazine. And there’s so much passion and meaning behind all of her looks (eg. dancing while laying down on the mattress was Gaga rehearsing for her routine while recovering from her hip surgery, Gaga holding up a limb to signify her recovery, her as an “odd black swan”, her in a cage, her crying and smearing her jester makeup, etc) it’s all so deep and symbolic and visually stunning. And the song itself is so liberating, like the beats are just so good to listen to with headphones on and the volume turned up. I could go on and on about how magnificent this masterpiece is, but you pretty much nailed it with your post. Paws up!
