It was such in honor to be in his beautiful film, and a blessing to have it received the way it has been. We often don’t get to see what each other really goes through behind closed doors. This film breaks them down, and it set me free. Thank you Chris Moukarbel for giving me that gift and to all of the fans who voted to make #GagaFiveFootTwo Best Music Documentary.

Yes! Monday night i was watching this award show on mtv. But unfortunately i never made it to see if you won or not because the tech in the women’s mental trauma unit at the Chicago behavior health hospital that i was in this week until today. I was in the women’s ward mental trauma unit for my ptsd and depression . I knew this was coming up soon, I could tell inside myself. The tech said “ oky its 9:30pm bedtime “! I was like oh man , haven’t seen Lady Gaga yet! Poo that bed time was 9:30pm. Im glad we all voted enough times to win this award for you. Congratulations. @LadyGaga

Stefani, I have fibro too. I also have 3 grandsons living with my husband and I. We are Joseph and Cynthia btw, same as your mom and dad! The boys' ages are 3, 2, & 1 and are active Little Monsters. Their Mommy and Daddy have drug issues so.... I really loved FiveFootTwo; especially when you said (while crying in agony) what do people with fibromyalgia but without money do? We dance our butts off to your music and enjoy life, that's what! I might be an older Little Monster, but i act like I'm 26. Muah, love you girl!

@marci4017 I mean, call them _before_ you attempt suicide. Obviously you did try that and got a less-than-observant doctor last time, which pisses me off. If you want though, you can try referring them to a program provided by the National Alliance on Mental Illness ( NAMI.org ) in which they educate health care providers on how to correctly manage mental health concerns. I forget what they call the program but it's there somewhere on the site. Last I looked for it it was in the Programs link down at the bottom. Doctors, like most people, dislike not knowing how to do their own jobs or being afraid of people they have to interact with every day, so it might be worth a shot if you think it's a problem.

@MrPupkin Is there a list of questions a patient should consider asking a doctor before deciding they are the person who can provide the proper assistance?

@Daisyart0 I don't know. Sorry. It probably varies from case to case and specialty to specialty. For non-mental health specialists the only specific criteria I have is they can't have an overt panic attack as soon as they look at my chart. I don't like that that even needs saying but alas. Otherwise I'm not sure. If I think of anything I'll try to let you know. Maybe check NAMI.org? There might be something there.

Thank you Lady Gaga. You have helped those of us with Fibromyalgia (FM), more than you know. By revealing your private struggle, you let the world know that FM is very real. I gain strength from you. You show me that I can still live a full life in spite of my disease. It must help tremendously to have a masseuse with you at all times. I have to admit, I'm jealous. I loved your documentary and am elated that it/you won that award. Congratulations!
