This music video is brutally honest and raw. My heart is still racing. Puts us in the shoes of those children. The children who live daily with the sounds of those gunshots etched in their memories. The violence that stirs their hearts. The fear that is pushed down into their spirits as they try and sustain a normal sense of reality. This video shook my soul. The shock factor is intense. It's the same feeling I felt the day of the Florida shooting. That overwhelming feeling of anxiety while having to keep a strong and upbeat front for the students. To keep them safe. All the violence surrounding them is disheartening. Focusing on keeping them safe, while sorting through all those distractions and chaos is a struggle... And not just for educators...for everyone.
