Born This Way Ball 🖤

This was me at the #BornThisWayBall at Twickenham Stadium September 8th 2012. It was the first time I got to go see Gaga and I remember it like it was yesterday. Seeing #LadyStarlight and #TheDarkness too for the opening acts. When the music started my eyes began to water immediately, then Gaga appeared and sang “Run Run with her...” I balled my eyes out! I couldn’t see until the end of #GovernmentHooker because I was crying with joy so much! The surge of emotions pulsing through my body was unreal. Even though I was way back in the seats I was still dancing and sing the whole show and screaming “I Love You!”. Hearing my favourites like #BornThisWay #HeavyMetalLover #Paparazzi and so many others live for the first time will be something I will never forget. Even though the show got shortened I didn’t mind because I was there and I had the best time of my life! Thank you Gaga for staying strong and for keeping me inspired! “I don’t speak English but I can if you Like! OW! I want you to Dance! Sweat! NO REGRETS!”

Reading your post made me smile, in all honesty. I could feel every emotion you described here, and could even feel the chills. It must have been an incredibly surreal moment for you especially those first few seconds when she first appears on stage and you’re like OH....MY.....GOD....... that’s really Gaga.... this is really happening..... holy shit. I was able to see her Joanne World Tour in Philadelphia. That was my first Gaga concert I’ve been to, and I was just like you. I waited in line for 9 hours coz I bought general admission tickets and had no assigned seating, so I made sure I got there early to secure a good spot. And fortunately I was pretty close to the main stage. I was exhausted and hungry but when the lights dimmed and the music started, My adrenaline and passion surged back up. I remember she had this huge countdown timer on an LED screen on stage, and as the minutes turned into seconds, my heart was beating so fast I was almost whimpering with excitement. And then it was 5....4....3.... and her voice yelled out “CALL ME JOANNE!!!!” and the screen ascended to reveal her standing behind it. I was just akagakahdhdkdjsnaj like I don’t even know how to describe it. This is the woman I’ve looked up to for 8 years, whose albums I’ve memorized in my childhood bedroom, whose voice I listened to in the car when I felt so low and wanted to give up. That voice I’ve...
