This was my wedding dance in 2006! Thank you for bringing it back to me. I love you and everything you stand for. I know you might not read this, I posted my story before. I have been dealing with chronic pain a long time. I even had a hysterectomy a year ago, at 33yo, because they thought it was due to my endometriosis and ovarian cysts making me bleed so much, the aches and pains I assumed were from the anemia. Well, it continued and I thought, it must be all in my head. People with fibromyalgia are debilitated, and I’m not. I have a physically demanding job as a medical laboratory scientist, I take care of my two little boys, and I’ve been dancing at a studio twice a week for 9 months now. I pushed it out of my head, but was still in almost constant pain. The more I did, the more I denied it, and pushed it down, the worse it got. I watched five foot two, and your voice echoed in my heart as you explained that it was not that you weren’t in constant pain, but that you could block it out and push through to do what you love. I am sure now that I have fibro, and my docs think it’s probable. Trying to find a rheumatologist and get things right. Thank you for showing the world what a brave frickin badass bitch you are. Love you to pieces! Happy Birthday Queen G!
