Happy 7th Anniversary, #BornThisWay! I canโt even begin to explain how much pride this song has given me as a #bisexual woman. When this song came out, I was still struggling with asserting my identity in a lot of ways, and I still was having a hard time gaining my parentsโ acceptance. Times were tough, and I often felt at a loss. The fact that a song came out on the radio with the lyrics โNo matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life, Iโm on the right track, baby, I was born to surviveโ blew my mind. Itโs hard to remember with all the strides the queer community has made in recent history, but back then, that kind of overt support for our community in the media was so rare - almost unheard of, frankly. These days I am so much more confident and happy, and I fully believe Born This Way has a huge part in that. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, @LadyGaga! I love you so much for using your brave, powerful voice when we needed you. โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐
