My school choir was granted permission to sing Edge of Glory as one of the pieces. unfortunately, we got bad news saying we weren't allowed to sing it because of the rude content "it's about a one night stand". (we all know what it's about) It's not about a one night stand. & myself being a little monster took great offence to that. I couldn't even sleep thinking about the fact that we weren't allowed to sing the song. So i wrote a letter to the administration explainig the true meaning of the song, and attached links of Gaga herself talking about the meaning in interviews. The administration was so impressed with my letter that we are now allowed to sing Edge of Glory again! There's a lesson here: always stand up for what you believe in, because great things will come of it. That's what I did & it worked. Gaga, i love you, Monsters i love you. Thank you. xoxoxo
