The song was promotional single. Originally Marry The Night was suppose to be the third single after Judas. But after the song was success in every countries that went no. 1 on ITunes the song official as the third single! The Edge of Glory is about the very last moments of life. And the song is about Gaga's late grandfather who pass away in 2010. She said the song that even thought her grandfather die, he is already a champion in the sky rather than sad. Then she release her music video. Directing by her team The @hausofgaga !! It only features Gaga & the musician member of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band is the late Clarence Clemons. This was Clarence last appearances in The Edge of Glory video. Few weeks after the video release, Clarence Clemons die from stroke. 😞 [[lm.cross]] . Clarence was credit to play his saxophone in the song. The Edge of Glory was successful in most chart in every countries. They went top 5 & 10. Including in the USA it went top 3 on Billboard Hot 100. Thank you @gaga & your songwriters to write a beautiful song to your grandfather. I love The Edge of Glory so much. That song that touch all of us. That also dedicated to our love ones who pass away. I play that song when my grandmother (dad's mother) die on August 18th, 2011 on midnight & now dedicated to my mom's friend Nivia loss her mother on March 8, 2016.
