This is beautiful and brought me to tears...BUT. Let's call it what it is. A hate crime. Against the LGBT community specifically. Upon further investigation, it came out that the shooter himself was a frequent patron of the club. He hated gays and therefore himself.

I've watched her speech a couple of times today. So so powerful and vulnerable at the same time. All I wanted to do was put my arms around her, hold her & tell her together we will make things better.
