Hey monsters. I was originally going to post about how I saw Panic! At The Disco in concert, but I don't think I should today. I woke up this morning and learned that a man shot over 100 people in the LGBT community and killed 50 of them, all in a gay club in Orlando, Florida. On the news they're saying they believe this man was a terrorist, but they have not confirmed this yet. This has been a very terrifying and traumatic experience for everyone across the country, including myself. I just want to say that I will never ever hide my identity as a member of the LGBT community. As I sit here typing this and crying, I just want to encourage all of you to be strong and to let your identity shine. This man cannot stop us as a community. This man cannot take away the fact the love wins in this country, and that we can marry whoever we want, and we can celebrate that. I am a proud bisexual. My friends are proud in their sexual identities. You all are some of the proudest, strongest people. We all must stay strong, proud, and hopeful that one day the whole world will see being LGBT as a gift and a thing to be celebrated. We must stick together as a community to support all those who cant be who they are, no matter what the circumstance. I want to thank the Obama Administration, the @bornthiswayfoundation and everyone who makes being a proud LGBT member possible. To all those in the world who don't believe being LGBT is okay, I hope you meet someone or hear a story that can change your mind. We are just like you, we want to love another person as freely and openly as a heterosexual person. Finally, monsters, thank you for letting me be myself. I love you all. Be yourself.
