I want to thank you moderators & little monster for loving my creation of birthday card for @grandmagaga 89th birthday! Am very grateful all of you love my post. My dad brought me this beautiful sculpture of dear Lady of Guadeloupe. It took 2 weeks to dry this clay model. Originally my mom was going to ask her mom's friend boss to paint this model but she want her to charged $60 dollars to paint the model. It was a ripoff price. So I decide to paint the model instead. My parents give me oil paint & color paint and I thank them so much!! This #littlemonster is dear Lady of Guadeloupe (Virgen de Guadeloupe) is my family savior. For those who know she is or some of you whom don't who she is. I will explain who is this: Official Catholic accounts state that on the morning of December 9, 1531, a native American peasant named Juan Diego saw a vision of a maiden at a place called the Hill of Tepeyac, which would become part of Villa de Guadalupe, a suburb of Mexico City. Speaking to him in his native Nahuatl language (the language of the Aztec empire), the maiden identified herself as the Virgin Mary, "mother of the very true deity and asked for a church to be built at that site in her honor. From her words, Juan Diego then sought out the archbishop of Mexico City, Fray Juan de Zumárraga, to tell him what had happened. The archbishop instructed him to return to Tepeyac Hill, and ask the lady for a miraculous sign to prove her identity. The first sign she gave was the healing of Juan's uncle. The Virgin also told Juan to gather flowers from the top of Tepeyac Hill, which was normally barren, especially in December. But Juan followed her instructions and he found Castilian roses, not native to Mexico, blooming there. Juan arranged the flowers in his tilma or cloak, and when Juan Diego opened his cloak before archbishop Zumárraga on December 12, the flowers fell to the floor, and on the fabric was the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Many Latino communities we adore her. Every where in church, markets, shops, wall painting, etc.. She was always right by my side, my mom, my dad, & my brother Max to protect us with love, good health, & faith. I always pray for her to help my mother, my father, my brother Max, my dog Timon, Lady @gaga , and all of you #littlemonster with caring, safety, protection, & love. And every year on night full on December 11 13 days before Christmas. We celebrated her birthday on the stroke of midnight. It also the beginning of 12 days of Christmas! ❤️💚🎁🎄🎅🏼❄️⛄️.
