I feel a lot of insecurities about my work, mostly when referencing my pictures as work ironically. To me they feel like work. The way I make them is really rather spontaneous and also very hmmmm, done in a certain type of haste. Essentially I'm just working with different photo editors and a lot of times the works just pop out all of a sudden. The natural photos I work with aren't necessarily gorgeous but the editors start to draw out the poetry of myself I think. When I look at the lines of the fabric in this particular shot, the 'double doors' the background. This is actually a mirrored image, so only half of my body is being shown. But to me it still speaks to duality, especially my own. For me it's very a very powerful scene.
