One year ago today I met the one and only Lady Gaga! Ever since then my life has been forever changed! I have never met anyone so beautiful and genuine and humble. I will never forget when my dad and girlfriend @kizzy4464 surprised me with meet and greet tickets for the Cleveland, Ohio Artrave! I never in a million years thought this would ever happen to me! Like so many of you, I have had many struggles in my life and I could finally tell gaga about them! She saved me! I was that girl. That girl who was always bullied in school. That girl who was never good enough and found out its because I was diagnosed with ADD. I always acted out in strange ways and then was told I had bipolar disorder. I was taken advantage of by many people in college whether it be financially, mentally, physically, or sexually. Then I got the bomb dropped on me when I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2009. I then developed a blood clot in the back of my head and was hospitalized for 2 months. I was sooo extremely lucky to make it through all of these struggles and because of all of these struggles there were many times i wanted to just end it all. Gaga's music and message truly got me through those times and to be able to tell her this in person was like a weight lifted away that I cant even explain! When I decided to create a project for gaga as her gift from my partner and I, I never realized what an impact or change it would have on me from then on out. Through making that project/blanket, I have made the best of friends like @laurakorf and @dollygaga1 and feel like I have helped others as well as them helping me! I have never felt connected with anyone the way I do with this monster family! I then was told I was to become a moderator for this website and I was in shock! I still am! I love creating a safe and loving environment through this website because I know what its like to feel bad in so many ways. I want to help and be there for as many people as I can and I appreciate this opportunity more than anything. I feel so blessed to have all of you in my life, and as much as meeting Lady Gaga was a blessing and an out of this word experience, interacting with all of you is what I truly live for everyday! I love you all so much and I am so excited to see what amazing things are to come this year! I know that one day each and every one of you will achieve your goal and happiness as long as you believe it will happen!
