I say this all the time She talked about Art her whole career & still does but ARTPOP was the big part of it all starting in 2012 & then 2013 releasing it & understood & it wasn't appreciated the way it should have been ._. I don't think it had "low sales" at all! Of course not as much as her other albums but her other albums were promoted hugely &.. Now people look at her differently sadly cuz of Born This Way & because she stood up for people's sexuality, etc.

That's exactly what I was thinking about when I saw the advertisement. Putting art in the front of all things - Artpop impact :)

People wanted to see GAGA flop , Gaga made a record to slam all those un-true things but I don't understand why everyone was so hateful towards ARTPOP I know some people loved ARTPOP but I believe that ARTPOP was misunderstood and people didn't get it and I'm pretty sure GAGA wanted to just like the album grow without huge ass promotions like her other albums like why she did promote it but she wanted to just let the music and art make the album grow and a lot of monsters left because she wasn't "number one" and now the media is supporting what gaga did when ARTPOP came out like the media needs to get their shit together and listen to the real ass queen !

To me ARTPOP wasn't that special. In my opinion I didn't connect as much as BTW because it was too pretentious. The songs are amazing but nowhere near as good as past albums (just my thoughts). However, I respect the album and I respect it's message. Gaga really fought for creative integrity and originality and now others are taking the glory. That's not cool

Gaga is the trendsetter, and who would expect anything less from such a talented artist.

I don't think ARTPOP is Gaga's best yet I do still love it. I love dancing to it, I love it for what it is, I love it for when it's touched me in dark and sick moments. I believe those 'low sales' are something Gaga may not care about but it also shows me those who did buy it are real monsters and won't betray her. I know I never will. There are other artists I fanned for just as much as I do for Gaga today and still, here I am fanning for them. Shania Twain, Hilary Duff, Madonna (yes especially Queen MDNA!) and I still love them all! And Katy. If someone asked me who's my favourite, I always say Gaga AND Madonna. I'm not leaving anyone.
