My oil painting on Canvas paper entitled '*Born this Death*' was done in 2014-15 and represents a combination of birth(life,which is represented by mother monster's egg in her hand while death is represented by her skeleton/deteriorating face) and death. This is somewhat of an abstraction of Lady Gaga's scene in the music video for Born this Way. This was a challenge since I've never worked with large amounts of pink and the other side of a canvas but I love the result.
