#GagaSongOfTheWeek No.12!!!!

OMG I completely forgot about #GagaSongOfTheWeek this Friday!😱 So this week's #GagaSongOfTheWeek is VENUS!!! This is one of the most fun song songs from ARTPOP! I love the melody of it combined with the drum beats. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this song at the #artRAVEDublin as much as I did! This has been one of the Fan Favourites since the ARTPOP era began. It's a song all about love which Gaga sings about, and who can forget the iconic line "don't you know my ass is famous?!" When I first heard the chorus I had such an eargasm, it's totally one of my favorites <3 It's not just the song that I love though, it's the message she put with it: "A true Venus is beautiful at any size". I had previously been about to become anorexic, but because I look up to her so much, when she said that I was thinking "well, if she's not worried than I don't have to be either", and life got so much easier. Also Gaga looks sooooooo freakin' sexy during her artRAVE performance, whenever I watch it my mouth is just like hanging open the whole time :p I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!!!!!!

I always like Venus since it came out. I remember listening to the snippet over and over again and when the whole song came out I just listened to it on repeat (I had always loved the "godess of looooove" line the most - it's almost magical). When the whole album came out I didn't listen to it as much as to the new songs and it wasn't really one of the songs I was THAT excited to hear at the artRAVE....But damn, it was the freaking best performance! The flowers coming out, confetti everywhere and everybody doing the 'V' with their hands and screaming 'Venus' in unity - it was really, really magical - the best part of the artRAVE <3
