ARTPOP is a meaningful album to me and I feel a strong connection with it. I feel like it's kinda a part of me, ARTPOP is me and I am ARTPOP. I think that this word and the images I see inked on my skin were already there hidden inside of me and now they've found a way to the light. One of the reasons why I love ARTPOP is because it represents pain through an explosion of light and colours. Listening and singing to ARTPOP release my pain and makes me free more than the other Gaga’s albums. The notes under the word “ARTPOP” represent the melody that I choose that rescues me from my fears, insecurities and even myself sometimes. The light blue butterfly is the symbol of me: ARTPOP and its melodies have freed my mind and now I’m finally able to fly away like a butterfly. This tattoo reminds me all the wonderful memories I had at the artRave and also to try to take this sense of freedom I feel when I listen to ARTPOP to the times when I’m with other people I don’t know.
