Is it a bad thing to want to work at the Born This Way Foundation?

I've tried so hard to understand why no one thinks it's possible. People say it's only because you like @gaga but it's not. I want to help people even though no one really helped me. My own family says it. I don't really know what to do. They're basically saying don't follow your dreams. I want to help people especially people my age because I know that so many of them are commuting suicide and cutting and it makes me sad. All I want to do is help but no one believes in me anymore. What am I supposed to do? @bornthiswayfoundation is there anyway I could help people without having money involved? I want to prove them wrong to say that I will follow my dreams. That's all i want...

I think a lot of people don't have compassion like you do, so they aren't so able to relate to it. That's what makes it a gift and maybe why they left you, not because your weird but because they don't understand life the way you do. You were born this way and its special. Pursue your passions and don't change just to fit in. One day a person who has left you might need a little of the gift you have to give!!

Hello Kirah, I respect so much that you want to help people this way. You are compassionate and that is a special gift that people need from you. Your words are more vital because you are young like a lot of these people and live at there rhythm and pace (generation).
