#GagaSongOfTheWeek No. 8!!

Monsters this week's #GagaSongOfTheWeek issssssss........ BORN THIS WAY!!!!! I chose this song for the New Year. This song is about raising self-esteem and many people make a New Year's resolution for their self esteem, for example, losing weight. And I've seen many people who have been successfully keeping up their resolutions so if you have I say GO YOU!!! This song and Gypsy are in fierce competition for what is the Monster anthem. It can be either depending on you. It has also healed soooo many monsters of their troubles and has turned them into bigger superstars than they already were! For me DWUW is the song that set me free, but I know that DWUW was what put me over the edge, without the foundation of Born This Way, DWUW wouldn't have put me one the edge into not caring what other people thought. ALSO SPECIAL SHOUT OUT: I want to give a mention to 'Ghost' by Katy Perry. I made a really strong connection with this song this week because I lost a friend this week. He didn't die but he just really hurt me and now he's like a ghost. And he was the first person I told that I like Gaga, because up to then I was too scared to say it because I thought I'd be mocked, but my friends have actually been very supportive and nice about it. I think Born This Way is the best song in the history of the world. I don't mean my most fav, (but it is one of my favs), but if I am completely unbiased I think it is *definitely* the best song ever written. It has a message that every human being can relate to and needs to hear, and it sounds catchy and beautiful and just amazing. Best song ever. period.

Born This Way is one song that has definitely had a massive impact on me! I liked Gaga through her career but never really became a big fan. Then one day in mid 2012 I randomly just started singing Born This Way over and over. I then bought it and started listening to it. I really liked the message and realised what an incredible person Gaga is. From that moment I purchased all of her albums and became a crazy fan!! The song helped me through a tough time where I really hated so many parts of myself so I am so grateful for Gaga for making this beautiful anthem! :)

Born this way is the song that made me a monster [[lm.bornthisway]] i think is one of gaga's most important songs. When I listened to it for the first time I didn't get the message at the moment (I was thirteen and I didn't know english really well), but when I understood what this song was about I felt for the first time free. Finally a song that was saying the exactly things I needed to hear. I'm really thankfull to BTW and to gaga beacause they made what I am to today, now I'm stronger, proud of myself and I don't really give a fuck of what people say or think about me [[lm.badkid]] !!! I've never listened to Ghost, but another song about loosing a friend is Summertime Sadness, one of my favourite songs [[lm.donatella]]

yaaas, my fav song :')) with whole btw era i became a gaga fan.. i just love lyrics of this song, it's got so big meaning to me, and i am even not gay or bi.. everytime i listen to "you're FAT, you're UGLY, "you're STUPID" i just know that's allright and normal because we all were BORN THIS WAY :33

Born this way is a really important song to me. It's not one of the songs I would list as one of my favorie Gaga songs but not because I don't love it; I really do love it and it's a classic and every time I hear it I'm instandly happy! Born this way really set me free in a certain way - the song and the whole album. Since BTW I feel so much better about myself; body and personality! I always hated my tummy because that's where I gain weight and I always wanted to change. But btw made me realize that I don't have to change to be perfect and to like myself. I actually feel so confident in my body now - I've never been happier in my life and the message of Born this way had a huge impact of that change. I also really love the btw video because it tells a story and it's so dark and colorful at the same time. I will always feel thankful for that song <3 ( I love how you tagged this post :D and I will definitely listen to Ghost )
