i remember when they first announced Cheek to Cheek that it took almost 2 years to actually come out, so it could be a while, giving her time to release and tour LG5 :)

Jazz is difficult music to master and interpret. People have to attain an ear for it before they can truly appreciate how important it is and has been to American culture. Cole Porter is a most amazing composer. His songs are timeless and have been covered thousands of times by different vocalists. Since I love Jazz, particularly from the late '40's into the early '60's, I have become pretty selective. That said, I haven't been quite as enthused about a female vocalist since Ella. PLEASE Gaga and Tony - give the world as many songbooks as possible - it is just plain necessary. As much as I LOVE Pop and Rock and Blues I can only hope to get as much of Gaga as possible, who is more than fully capable of channeling her musical genius into anything. Thank you GOD for Gaga!

It is true but if I remember, Cheek To Cheek took some time to process and make. I remembered in 2011 they said they would be doing that, and it came out 3 years later! Meanwhile, I know Gaga's new pop album will be due next year. I read that I think on Gaga Daily. If we get both next year, I'd be extremely excited and happy. I want the pop album because that's what I love, but the jazz is perfect for when I'm writing :)

I'm sure she's still working on a solo album. Gaga can sing any genre she wants, she's so so talented. Whatever makes her happy, makes me happy. Love Gaga a lot.
