Now I was waiting for someone to say oh look Madonna's copying Gaga. As a huge Madonna fan before Gaga, I won't forget seeing her come back with MDNA (which was AMAZING!), and seeing the dark tears at the end of Girl Gone Wild, which strongly reminded me of The Fame Monster's darker cover. But I'll admit I think since the rise of Gaga, artists have been emerging with more creativity in how they present art. I feel like Rebel Heart will be a very dark Madonna album, as the cover shows which I LOVE! Even MDNA's deluxe cover is gorgeous and probably her best. So do I think Gaga influenced her? Maybe. But also gave her confidence to do a controversial cover, like other artists. Shouldn't that be the way? I'm an aspiring novelist and I won't look and don't see other successful published authors hating on each other.
