Now looking back on ARTPOP | Which song touched you the most?
Now looking back on ARTPOP | Which song touched you the most?
When I look back on the ARTPOP era I think the songs that touched me the most are Do What U Want, Dope and ARTPOP. The lyrics express my spoken thoughts and their messages are so strong that's why those touched me the most.
Also Applause gives me goosebumps every time I hear it because it marks Gaga's comeback in 2013 and when I heard it the first time all my emotions went crazy, It felt so right and our Queen was ready to slay. Maybe it didn't get the recognition it deserved after all but let's see the facts that it was indeed a No. 1 Album and in the end sold better than PRISM (just taking it as an example as people often say PRISM sold better than ARTPOP, if gaga's manager wouldn't have let her all alone then the promotion hadn't be so less and it would have been number one all around the world).
The songs from ARTPOP I heard the most are Venus, G.U.Y., Mary Jane Holland, Gypsy and of course ARTPOP itself.
The reasons are simple; it's because every time I hear them, I get a super joyable feeling and I always sing along right away. I love the instrumentals and the lyrics and the chorus of each song is perfect.
The songs I didn't hear as much as the others are MANiCURE, Aura and Jewels N' drugs. I like these also very much and there are days where I am just up to only listen to one of these but in the end I heard them not too often, because they don't catch me as much as for example G.U.Y. does. Probably a matter of taste. [[lm.cute]]
Btw, the picture is created by me. :)
What are your opinions about the songs? Which touched you the most, which can you relate the most to, which are your all-time-dance tracks? Tell me! @ladygaga
Have a nice weekend,
