This tattoo reminds me every day that I should stay strong and free my mind. I've suffered from mental illness almost my entire life. I'm diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and I've gone to therapy for years. I'm finally happy, which I never thought was possible. Two years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy and I got depressed again but through talking about it I managed to stay above the surface. Mental illness is very real and it should be taken seriously. I want to tell all of you who are suffering that you are not alone. I wish someone would have said that to me years ago but they didn't. But you are not alone, we are here for you and we have to talk about this. We have to fight the stigma. Please don't throw your lives away, you will be happy again I promise <3
