I am just amazed at how this fan base loves and supports each other. You don't see that very often with other celebrities & their fan bases. But little monsters... we are different. A year ago on October 31 I had a hysterectomy at the age of 25, due to having stage 4 Endometriosis. Endo is a painful bitch. I was on heavy narcotics off and on for years prior to my surgery. In November I will have gone a whole year without them. I wish I would have realized that even tho it was a prescription, and even tho I took it as directed, I was slowly but surely physically getting addicted. I posted about it, about all my withdrawal symptoms on here. It was horrid. I thought I was going to die. It was THE lowest point of my life. But I wanted to get off them. I wanted to be a better mom, a better wife, a better employee, and just overall a better person. And I couldn't do that being addicted to narcotic pain meds. And that is when @tryme came into my life & that changed everything. He read my post. He was a complete stranger. But he was there for me. He'd message me. Ask me how I was doing. He'd give me advice. He'd put me in touch with other monsters who have had the same struggles. Because of him I found out the @gagasaveslives lives just an hour away from me. And really, Robert & Jen have been amazing for me. They both have changed my life, for the better. I had actually met Jenny at #BornThisWayBall in Tacoma, and didn't even realize it. lol So we got together a few times for cupcakes and coffee, scouting out Key Arena for #ARTRAVE , camped outside, got @gaga roses (which Jenny got to personally give them to her), and had an amazing time. Robert.. lives all the way in So. Cal. & the opportunity came up for me to go to Sacramento. Robert took off work and drove 7 hours to meet me. And we had a blast. We did dinner the first night, spent some time the following day in Old Sacramento, shopping in all the cute little shops they have. It was one of the best days ever. I NEVER would have thought that an artist would be responsible for bringing me into such an amazing friendship. We aren't just a fan base, we are #family. May be dysfunctional, but it keeps things interesting. So, thank you @gaga for doing all this. For creating LM.com, for being so #kind and #loving and for bringing us all together. <3
