i just opened up about this on another monsters post and i felt i needed to do this on my own page as well....i hope i dont sound annoying to anyone! At times i get told that im "waaaaay to over the top" wen i say gaga saved my life and helped me through my depression wen i was 15.....but in all honesty...gaga truly did save my life...i was bullied heavily from the moment i stepped into high school at age 12 because i was asian (a minority in the school) and i also quite confident and had an opinion on everything....despite my english i was very outspoken wen it came to debating and voicing my views in class..many of the others saw that and felt that i was any "easy target".....i didnt fit in from the get go...my purpose of being at school wasnt to "find boys" and "look pretty" like most of the "popular" girls, .....my purpose was to better my education and study etc and for that i was ostracized....for a very long time i was alone .....i felt that no one got me and contemplated suicide after the huge amount of racism and bullying i received ....the school did nothing bout the bullies..they just said it would sort itself out......if it wasnt for lady gaga and her songs especially born this way and hair, i would've to this day thought that something is wrong with me wen the truth is - i just live and view life in a different light and that there r some very ignorant ppl in todays society who cant accept that some ppl r just unique and r not afraid to show it....ive opened up alot on here i know,.... but i felt like it needed to be said so my fellow monsters get what i meant by "gaga saved my life" and the depth there was to it......to anyone dealing with depression pls dnt be afraid to speak out......never feel that ur situation is "not worthy of talking about " or that its just "too weird" !!! never let anyone tear u down....a...s gaga has said in the past ....."its not about society telling u who u r ...its about YOU TELLING SOCIETY WHO U R!!!
