MONSTERS PLEASE READ it took me a very long time to open up about this rare experience so please be respectful. about a month ago i was traveling on a school trip for the art department at my high school and we went to NYC for a whole week. one of my main goals for this trip was to see something Gaga related or Gaga herself (even though at that time i was pretty doubtful of that.) But on the 2nd day we were in NYC we went to Little Italy and i saw a girl with a Roseland gaga tee and i thought that was pretty cool, after little italy and we went by subway up near upper east side to the Guggenheim. after the guggenheim Museum we went to Central park and walked a little. till we got to a resting point. I knew exactly where we were. ive seen every photo of her leaving this place and every photo of the building and every video. we were at the little section of central park where gagas apartment looks out over. I was in shock and i was even more thrilled because this was where we were taking a hour and half break! I felt close to gaga, like i could feel her presence. i never felt closer to her ever. when we took breaks from walking and what not everyone goes on there phone. i went on my phone and texted a picture of gagas building to my best friend and my mother. After i checked my twitter and saw that gaga was out walking with her 2 friends and asia and her body guard. I got really excited because maybe i will get to see her walking on the sidewalk. after that one photo of her walking i waited like 10 minutes or so went by and i checked instagram and gaga posted a .... Photo.... at .... the ...park. i immediately looked up to see if she was around and Then i saw her. i recognised her body guard and the two guys in the photo and her Giant ass wig that i love to peices she was about 75-90 feet away. i put my sunglasses on so i could cry. in that moment i felt safe, i felt like i could be myself, i felt free, all my worries in the world went away. the one who is the reason i am alive was less than 100 feet away from me. I didnt know what to do. i sat in silence. i asked myself do i go up to her? i told myself. No. My choice was no because she was on break from her tour, she was with friends, and she looks like she was having fun being outdoors, i saw her smile. ive been a fan since i first heard her on the radio in 2008 and everyday since then i wished to meet her and lady starlight. i met lady starlight at the born this way ball so 1/2 of the wish came true the other half was waiting for another day. june 8th 2014 was not the day. i wanted to leave her alone. yes i do love her, but my decision was the best. But for the first time in my life i felt my closest to gaga and its all that matters. i was thinking of the artist. I DID NOT TAKE ANY PHOTOS OUT OF RESPECT OF GAGAS PRIVACY but i love gaga so much and i wanted to share this with you monsters to let you know that never give up on your dreams and goals. im a girl from a small town in california that never thought she would ever see gaga or be in NYC. @gaga I love you and i will never forget this wonderful experience i had on that afternoon. i am alive because of you. thank you.
