Courier Mail Brisbane Lift Your Game!

Here's is my response to the Courier Mail Brisbane's review of Gaga's show. Please go on their Facebook page and make your comments known Brisbane fans! #artRAVEBrisbane Your review of the show was underwhelming! Gaga was her usual fantastic best. She's an amazing musician dancer and vocalist who writes her own music. Her last concert was dramatic and powerful and this show was fun, tongue in cheek to go with the brilliant new direction of her artpop album. She's totally authentic and doesn't take herself to seriously. The anger in her performance is known in other circles as "passion" and after seeing her for the 3rd time in Brisbane this is definetly part of her unique performance style! Please get a journo to write these reviews who can appreciate all of the heart and soul that goes into a show like this. Otherwise I'd be happy to write your future concert reviews.

The review wasn't bagging out Gaga, it was being objective as a reviewer is required to be. Most of the time a reviewer will be indifferent to the artist they are seeing in order to give an honest review that is not biased for or against. They didn't dispute anything you said in your response, the only thing they lacked was the biased adoration of Gaga (which I'm not saying is a bad thing, I mean Im much the same haha). But this is how reviews work, being honest the reviewer is right, if you aren't a hardcore Gaga fan like we are, the show may not appear as magnificent as we saw it. I think Gaga is an acquired taste and sometimes it takes a Gaga fan to understand what Gaga does and why she does it, ya know? :)
