Hey Monsters:) This is a remix of one of my drawings, I photocopied it and glued it to a large sheet of artist paper and I turned it into a piece I call Free As My Hair. I painted my favorite lyrics from Mother's song Hair into the hair on my painting, the words have a lot of meaning for me. I'm listening to it right now, actually:) I used colored pencils for the face, tempera cakes for the hair, acrylic paint for the lyrics, and water colors for the backdrop and lips (sometimes I like using a lot of mixed-media ;) ).
