This is who I am-- FREE. I am Brooklyn, I believe in love. I believe in my Creator. I believe in unity. I believe in change. The things I value are beautiful to me. I am a unique being. I will never settle for being normal. I wasn't made to be like everyone else. Pop culture breathes life into me! I think that I have grown so much within this year and by accepting and expressing the woman I truly am instead of hiding behind the aura. For such a long time I was afraid to be who I am because it wasn't the norm. My style is "weird" my taste in art and fashion is not what other people like but that's what separates me and I love it. Because I believe in equality people look at me different and think that I'm just drenched in sin. I do sin, Yes but so do you. Truth is I've always been this way and I've always valued these things I just never let anyone in on who I am out of the fear of their judgement. The big "issue" people have with me is they don't think that I can't worship God and love the LGBT community and support them. Well go ahead and hit the "unfriend" button because none of that is going to change. Love is love. Their way of life and choices on whom they love doesn't make them any different from us in my eyes. Race, color, ethnicity, who gives a damn! We are all people and we all deserve happiness. We deserve love and opportunity. We deserve equality! I can't tell you enough how sad it makes me that we are all so divided because of LABELS! Screw all of that. Don't let someone tell you what or who you are. Be YOU. Be BRAVE! BE FREE! You deserve it. Don't live a life caged in fear and in the opinions of others. That's no way to live. Each and every one of you reading this is beautiful. You are instilled with amazing talents and gifts to share with the world.. Don't let another day go by feeling caged. Spread those beautiful wings and fly. Wear what you wanna wear.
