Seashell Girl- My Gypsy Story
Seashell Girl- My Gypsy Story
On july 5th, 2014 @gaga changed my life. I've spent a large part of my life dedicated to living out the message of love and compassion she has taught us and it pays off everyday- especially on this particular day. Before the concert I endured a very cold camp out (i forgot to bring a sweater and only had a thin blanket for warmth), I stepped in gum, and a bird shat on me... so all in all my day was rather crappy, no pun intended. Nonetheless I still decided to go about my day sporting a tinted pink see-through skirt, garden panties, a bedazzled seashell bra, and a huge smile. I went to the concert alone and I happened to meet many wonderful monsters during the 9 hour wait, all who were very nice and honestly felt like family! As hours passed, the crowd grew, the sun set, and Gaga finally walked on stage. I've seen her live many times before (6 to be exact) but this time felt different. I felt so close to her, as if we were friends at a club dancing our hearts out. During Born This Way she gave me a lovely shout out "My mama told me, Seashell Girl you're so beautiful" thus "Seashell Girl" was born, but it wasn't until Gypsy that I flourished in all my DIY seashell bra fabulousness. When she plucked me from the crowd of 27,000,000 by saying "Excuse me, Security, could you please bring the Seashell girl on stage please" I was shocked. Security pretty much air lifted me on to the stage and before I knew it I was sitting beside the woman that saved my life numerous amounts of times. She hugged me, danced with me, kissed my cheek, let me kiss her cheek, and gave me a memory of a lifetime. Many people asked me how I didn't freak out on stage, and the truth is, I didn't feel the need to. Gaga isn't some superstar I obsess with, She's a friend that teaches me, supports me, loves me, and also happens to provide me with killer music. I'm not sure if she'll ever see this post (as I suspect Tour time doesn't leave a lot of time for LM.com) but I am happy just to share my story with you guys, my monster family.
