My artRave experience. :)
My artRave experience. :)
So, after more than 5 weeks I finally managed to make a post about my artRave experience and Meet&Greet with queen Gaga.
When I heard of the ARTPOPZone Tickets right after the tourdates were released, I somehow tried to get together this huge amount of money in order to buy one of those tickets as it's always been a dream to meet Gaga. So I safed up every Euro I could get and bought AZ tickets. I was sooo happy - you can't even imagine.
So, the day of the Rave I went to Vienna quite early and I met some of the most amazing monsters ever. Again, I realized that we are one of the most fabulous, loving and authentic fanbases on this planet.
Then later we finally got into the ARTPOP Zone and I just didn't even realize what was going on. Everything felt like a dream. The artRave was INCREDIBLE! Gaga's vocals and the show were PERFECT. She sang 'What's Up' for the very first time and I have to confess that I cried a lot during the show because I was just so fucking happy.
Right after the show we got escorted backstage and I felt my heart beating faster and faster - omg I was sooo nervous!
After some time Gaga walked in and she looked damn beautiful! She sat down and had some red wine with coke and I got more and more nervous. Some of the monsters shared really personal stories which I'm not gonna share here with everyone. Later Gaga sang a part of Bowie's 'Life On Mars' and then it was my turn to ask a question. Ever since I've been a Little Monster I've always really been into Gaga's pre-career in downtown NY (singing in bars with her band, you know..), and I thought that she could maybe give me some advice on how to start-off. So I somehow asked her what it's been like to start-off there in New York City (I actually muttered some uncomprehensible shit and totally forgot how to talk in English and could not even form a proper sentence but yeah.. :'D) and I told her that I was an artist too (she immediately asked what kind of artist I was) and then she told us something about her pre-career. She was like, 'I lived in a shit-box. But it was a nice shit-box'. And she told me something very inspiring. She said that if I really wanna become famous and if I'd do anything for it, I should just pack my things, move to NYC and do it.
Unfortunately, the time was then over and we got to take our pictures with Gaga. When I got in, I was even more nervous and I smiled at her and she put her arm around me and the photographer took the pic. Then she said,'You look so beautiful tonight!' And we looked in eachother's eyes and I couldn't say anything but 'Thank you. Thank you so much, Gaga'. Then I left.
The next day my heart had been so broken. I could not understand the fact that everything was over. In fact, I still can't believe it.
I really have to say that this was the best day/night of my whole life. I wish I could turn back time and experience all of this over again.
I love you endlessly, Gaga. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thank you for everything <3
